Paymentwall adds Line Pay, JkoPay, EZPay, Apple Pay, and TaiwanPay in Taiwan to the list of over 160 supported local payment methods, and makes them available for businesses worldwide, providing instant access to over 10 million Taiwanese online shoppers.

The top three digital-wallets: Line Pay, Apple Pay, and JKoPay, together hold more than 60 percent of the entire Taiwan mobile payments market, with Line Pay taking up the majority with 22% share. Line Pay has over 7.3 million users in Taiwan, with over 150,000 online stores and retail shops already accepting this payment method in Taiwan.

These newly added payment methods will be mainly provided for digital goods and services worldwide, such as gaming, e-commerce, SaaS, software, and more. According to the Taiwan Development Council, the mobile payment penetration rate in Taiwan market reached 62.2 percent in 2019, up more than 10 percent from the previous year. Mobile payment users aged 26-35 in Taiwan take up 76.7 percent in 2019. And this young age group is found of global consumptions, and love to try digital goods or services.
