Turkish Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) implemented a new rule in the usage of credit cards issued in Turkey. Starting from August 17, all credit cards will be deactivated for online transactions.
In order to activate online payments, holders of locally issued credit cards will need to contact the issuing bank and request to activate online payments. Once the card is activated, card holders will be able to make online purchases again.
